I have been in Scranton for 4 years before I visited this hidden gem! However it's not just the establishment which makes it a gem. Maria the beautiful and amazing bartender is what won it for me. Be it meaningful discussion to great service and drinks being refilled before we could ask, she's on top of it. She's there in Mondays and Fridays and every other Saturday. Go there and ask for Maria and say hi to her! You will be blown away. Yes she's that good!

I haven't tried the food, so I won't give a star rating for that, but having gone there twice now, I can assure anyone that it's a fun vibe! The crowds are typically middle aged and up, though not exclusive, and I'm not saying it's a bad thing! There's multiple people I've spoken with, and everyone was friendly, no exceptions. The bar has space for live music and they get some good acts. The open design room off to the side has electronic games that can be played at a cost, but there's also shuffle board, which is completely free to play. Just walk up to it and have fun! The tables are also made of raw chunks of wood, the trees used to make them cut either horizontally for round tables or vertically for long tables, all with lacquer to seal them and give tuneful a nice shine! All in all, it's definitely one of the better bars I've been to in the Scranton area. And even though I can't be sure since I don't have a personal frame of reference for it, considering how nice everything else is, I wouldn't be surprised if the food is good, too! I highly recommend giving The Rusty Nail a shot. Chances are, you won't regret it!

We were invited there by friends for karaoke . 8-11 had a great time. Neighborhood tavern with a good crowd. People were friendly and enjoyed themselves. We didn’t eat but many people were enjoying the food.

Good food, great Bartender (Brock), and a fun time at trivia night. Ice Cold Drinks. A We had the Buffalo wing pizza mild (very good), Wing bites (very good), and a cheesesteak. Overall, it was a great evening and good time at a local comfortable location.

So the bar we were going to go to was overcrowded, and we accidentally ended up at the Rusty Nail while trying to remember a bar we had been to in the area years ago. I gotta say, my burger was amazing. It was like the burger your mom would make you on a day off from school. The drinks were delicious, and the bartender was exceptional. It wasn't overcrowded, and has everything you'd need. I'm not 100% sure, but I just moved to south side and have been looking for my neighborhood bar, and this might be the one. But then again, I've only been here once so..

Really nice local neighborhood bar.

Great place definitely recommend to family and friends

Good bar, patrons, great food. Highly recommend.
